1. Check the sheets

Since bed bugs are small, they can go everywhere they want to. That’s why it’s important to check underneath the mattress, underneath the box spring, behind the paintings, underneath the rugs, or pretty much anywhere else in your room just to be sure. Even though they’re called “bed bugs” they don’t always stick to your bed.

3. Put your luggage away

Make sure to keep your luggage in the bathroom or on some counter. If you put it on the floor or next to the walls or on/near the bed, the higher the chances that the bugs will get into your suitcase.

4. Examine your clothes and your suitcase

The last thing you need to do is to carefully examine your suitcase and all the little cracks in it. After this, thoroughly wash your clothes in the washing machine.
